Microsoft Internet Explorer [October 24, 2001]: This site performs best under Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or 6. Speed and graphic rendering perform best under Internet explorer.

Netscape Navigator [October 24, 2001]: Under various Netscape Navigator versions, this site works best under version 6. There may be some screen rendering issues with Navigator version 4 and 5. Navigator  version 6 is not compatible with earlier web sites designed under earlier versions. Issues with the performance of Netscape Navigator are not the result of the of the Legal Suites^® Compliance Network web design.

Site Development: The web domain was developed principally using a number of Microsoft software products, such as Front Page, MS Word, Visual Basics, Excel, Access, MS Gif Animator, MS Image Composer, MS Script Editor, MS Word Pad, MS Note Pad.  Other Software products used included Corel Draw, Corel Photo-Paint, Adobe Acrobat.

Page Content Development: The web pages appearing on this site take advantage of browser technology such DHTML (Dynamic HTML) and  CCS (Cascading Style Sheets). Your browser will need to support these features for optimum viewing of the Legal Suites web site.

Developer Preference: Our preference would be for viewers to browse this site with MS Internet Explorer over Netscape Navigator.

Printing [October 24, 2001]: Newer pages of this web site have been enhanced to facilitate the printing on standard 8 1/2 inch wide paper. Simply align your browser to the minimum width of the screen (without scroll bars). Then engage the print command by right clicking your mouse or select "print" from the file menus above.

Web Pages: The web pages of Legal Suites employ a variety of dynamic HTML features, driven mainly by JavaScript. JavaScript should not be confused with Java applets, as the former is an inherent feature of both Microsoft and Netscape browsers. VB Script is also used on select pages. These harmless scripts run client side (that's your browser) housekeeping jobs such as displaying menus, and verifying forms on  submission. In addition Pearl 5 (CGI Scripts) are used on the server side (that's our side) for processing forms, e-mails, etc.

Downloads: Downloads are offered on the web pages of Legal Suites. Downloads are generally initiated by the user. In other words you have to ask for the Files. From to time there may be PDF (Acrobat), TXT (text), DOC (Microsoft Word), ZIP (Compressed), or even EXE (Executable) files available for download. It is always a good internet practice (GIP) to use an up-to-date virus program. We use several, including  and expect our clients to do the same.

Server: The web pages of Legal Suites are hosted on a Sun server with high speed links accommodated via Cisco routers. The http server runs Apache 1.3.4 (Unix).

Screen Area Setting: The screen setting should be 800 x 600 or greater.

Screen Color Setting: The color setting should b set to "True Color" (24 bit) or greater.

Monitor: Ideally you should be using a minimum of a 17 inch monitor, attached to a descent video card run a Pentium class computer. there are no more excuses, system prices "cheap".
