Natural Health Products Regulations
(FINAL) |
| |
|
Description: This
file is a PDF version of the final Natural
Health Products Regulations as they appeared
in the June 18, 2003 Canada Gazette II
publication. Bookmarks have been added as a
courtesy by the Food Suite Compliance team at
Legal Suites Inc. Although Natural Health
Product Regulations are not directed at
foods consumed for traditional nutritive
purposes, they may include products which are
currently regulated as food. Bar, cookie or
beverage formats could possibly fall within
Natural Health Product Regulations when the
nutritive material is the delivery mechanism of
the natural health constituent. The transitional
provisions span over 6 years commencing January
1, 2004.

Compendium of Templates for
Nutrition Facts Tables |
| |
|
Description: This
file is the updated version of nutrition facts
tables. Each of the nutrition facts versions
indicted in the February 26, 2003 Canada Gazette
II are graphically represented in this file. You
may use the templates as a general guide in
assisting with the determination of which
format(s) would be suitable for labelling based
on the 15% available display surface rule. Print
the pages, cut out the templates and voila! A
low tech tool for a seemingly complex task. What
is even better is if you have the full version
of Adobe Acrobat, you can edit the templates and
include your own values in the tables. Try it!
But save your original template file! Then print
or copy the table into another program such as
Microsoft Word.
